This survey determines the exact quantity of bunkers remaining at the end of the charter period (Off-Hire), minimizing disputes and facilitating smooth settlement of hire costs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\ud83c\udfaf<\/strong><strong> OBJECTIVES OF THE SURVEY<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Accurately determine the remaining quantities of fuel (FO, DO, LO, etc.) at the time of off-hire.<\/li>\n<li>Inspect and record the vessel\u2019s actual technical condition after operation.<\/li>\n<li>Compare with on-hire records to identify losses or discrepancies.<\/li>\n<li>Minimize disputes and support hire cost settlement.<\/li>\n<li>Protect the legitimate legal interests of both <strong>Charterer<\/strong> and <strong>Owner<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\ud83d\udcdd<\/strong><strong> SCOPE OF SURVEY<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong> Bunker Survey<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Measurement &amp; inspection of fuel levels in the following tanks:\n<ul>\n<li>HFO\/FO (Fuel Oil)<\/li>\n<li>MDO\/DO (Diesel Oil)<\/li>\n<li>LO (Lubricating Oil)<\/li>\n<li>Sludge\/Waste Oil (if required)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Cross-check against engine logbooks and ship\u2019s sounding records.<\/li>\n<li>Calculate remaining quantities using the <strong>Tank Calibration Table<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong> Vessel Condition Survey<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Inspection and photographic evidence of: hull, deck, rails, anchors, cranes, cargo gear.<\/li>\n<li>Record any damages, dents, leaks, rust, or missing spares (if any).<\/li>\n<li>Compare with the on-hire condition to clarify losses incurred during the charter period.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong> Reporting &amp; Documentation<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparation of on-site survey reports, recording bunker status and vessel condition.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting documents: photos, sounding tables, tank drawings, and other relevant certificates.<\/li>\n<li>Issuance of an official survey report in <strong>English and\/or
