🎯 OBJECTIVES OF THE SURVEY

  • Accurately determine the remaining quantities of fuel (FO, DO, LO, etc.) at the time of off-hire.
  • Inspect and record the vessel’s actual technical condition after operation.
  • Compare with on-hire records to identify losses or discrepancies.

📝 SCOPE OF SURVEY

  1. Bunker Survey
  • Measurement & inspection of fuel levels in the following tanks:
    • HFO/FO (Fuel Oil)
    • MDO/DO (Diesel Oil)
    • LO (Lubricating Oil)
    • Sludge/Waste Oil (if required)
  • Cross-check against engine logbooks and ship’s sounding records.
  • Calculate remaining quantities using the Tank Calibration Table.
  1. Vessel Condition Survey
  • Inspection and photographic evidence of: hull, deck, rails, anchors, cranes, cargo gear.
  • Record any damages, dents, leaks, rust, or missing spares (if any).
  • Compare with the on-hire condition to clarify losses incurred during the charter period.
  1. Reporting & Documentation
  • Preparation of on-site survey reports, recording bunker status and vessel condition.
  • Supporting documents: photos, sounding tables, tank drawings, and other relevant certificates.
  • Issuance of an official survey report in English and/or Vietnamese upon request.
