CARGO LOADING & DISCHARGING SUPERVISION AT PORT

VM CONTROL – Vietnam Marine Inspection Joint Stock Company – successfully carried out the supervision of cargo loading and discharging operations at the port as per client’s request. The objective is to ensure that all cargo handling activities are performed safely, properly, and in compliance with agreed procedures.

PURPOSE OF SUPERVISION

  • Ensure the loading/discharging process follows the approved cargo handling plan.

  • Monitor cargo condition, packaging, and transport equipment at each stage.

  • Detect and report any irregularities or risks that may affect cargo quality or quantity.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, fire prevention, and technical requirements of port authorities, shipping lines, and cargo owners.

SCOPE OF WORK

Our surveyors:

  • Inspected the site, coordinated equipment and related personnel.

  • Checked containers, vehicles, and vessel holds prior to loading/discharging.

  • Supervised lifting, handling, lashing, and container sealing/unsealing processes.

  • Took photos, drafted field reports, and obtained on-site confirmation from stakeholders.

  • Promptly informed clients of any incident or non-conformity for timely resolution.
