🔹 Survey Details
1️⃣ HOLD CLEANEST SURVEY
Objective:
To verify the cleanliness and readiness of all cargo holds before loading.
Scope of work:
- Inspection of all cargo holds, including bulkheads, tank top, hatch coaming, and ladders.
- Verification of dry, clean surfaces, free from loose scale, rust, odour, oil, or residues.
- Checking drain channels, hatch covers, and bilge wells.
- Evaluation according to international cleanliness standards (WFP, NCB, GAFTA).
- Photo documentation and record verification.
2️⃣ FULL-ON HIRE SURVEY
Objective:
To record the vessel’s overall physical and operational condition at the time of delivery under charter.
Scope of inspection:
- Hull & Deck: General condition of hull plating, deck, and fittings.
- Cargo Holds: Condition, cleanliness, dryness, absence of damage.
- Deck Fittings: Inspection of winches, cranes, mooring ropes, and lashing gear.
- Fore & Aft: Anchors, chains, fairleads, rollers, bollards.
- Engine Room: Cleanliness, no leakage, safe operation.
- Bridge: Navigation lights, radar, communication systems.
- Bunker & Fresh Water Survey: Measurement and calculation of fuel, diesel, and fresh water quantities in each tank.
