A Full On-Hire Survey is a comprehensive inspection conducted at the time a vessel is delivered from the Owner to the Charterer. Its purpose is to accurately record the vessel’s technical condition, equipment status, and remaining fuel on board (ROB – Remaining On Board) at the commencement of the charter period.
This process plays a critical role in ensuring transparency of responsibilities between parties and serves as a key reference in case of disputes during the vessel’s operation.
